Who is he, and where is he from?

  Peter Clark was born in South Africa in 1970. In 1974, his family emigrated to the south east of England, where his education began. By 1979 the Clark family had discovered the West Country and once again, Peter relocated with his mother, father and older brother. Except for a brief period in Buckinghamshire, he has remained rooted in rural Somerset and intends to live out his days amongst its striking scenery and small market towns.

What was his education?

  Armed with college distinctions and merits in business subjects such as law, economics, accounting practices, information technology and industrial relations, he began a dynamic career in computing, progressing quickly from programming to systems analysis, gaining management and director level roles by the age of 22. These soon evolved into marketing and technical sales roles, where he came to truly understand the benefits of effective communication in every area of business practise.

What does he do for a living?

  Peter works as an independent journalist and communication consultant, advising and helping clients in four primary areas: the written word, B2B and B2C communication, internet technologies & web sites, and internet-based marketing and awareness campaigns. He has provided internet solutions and communication advice for businesses and consultants alike, and is responsible for much of the content of The Wise Marketer, a popular on-line source of marketing information.

What does he do when he's not working?

  In addition to journalism, Peter writes both fiction and non-fiction books and is a published author. He is open-minded, articulate, positive and energetic in everything he undertakes, hungry for perfection in all things. Some people like rock climbing, or deep sea diving. Peter likes to write - he finds it relaxing and fulfilling. He keeps a tidy desk, too.
